Press Release: St. Patrick’s Day at the Market

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC— Dress in green, grab a good-luck shamrock and head to Lonsdale Quay Market to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with traditional Celtic dancing, a pop-up market and food and drinks on Sunday, March 17th.

St. Patrick’s Day will begin with a traditional Celtic dance performance from the Eire Born Irish Dancing Company in the Rotunda from 11:00am-11:30am. The afternoon will continue with fun kids craft activities, and balloon twisting. We will also be hosting a pop-up Irish themed Market from 10:00am -3:00pm. The Market will feature local artisans where you will find plenty of Celtic charms.

The Cheshire Cheese Restaurant will finish off the celebration on March 17th hosting their annual dinner, with Celtic dancing by Eire Born Irish Dancers, live music from Irish Paper Moon and plenty of beer and food. There will be two seating’s, one at 5PM and the other at 7PM.

Detailed Schedule:
10:00AM – 3:00PM       Pop-Up Irish Market
11:00AM – 11:30AM    Eire Born Irish Dancers perform in the Rotunda
12:00PM –  3:00PM      Kid’s Crafts, Balloon Twisting held on the 2nd Floor
