NORTH VANCOUVER, BC – Lonsdale Quay Market is celebrating Lunar New Year on Saturday, January 26th, 2019. The Year of the Pig festivities includes an authentic Fan Dancing Workshop and performance beginning at 11:00AM, along with traditional Lunar New Year crafts for all ages from 12:00PM to 3:00PM. The Lion will begin blessing the Market at 3:00PM with a stunning dance. Make sure to keep an eye out for the God of Fortune, who will be handing out red envelopes with various Market dollars and gift certificates as a symbol of good luck, while supplies last.

Event Schedule
11:00AM – 11:30AM: Fan Dancing Workshop and Performance.
12:00PM – 3:00PM: Traditional Lunar New Year Crafts for all ages.
3:00PM – 4:00PM: Lion Dance Blessing and God of Fortune.
