22 Feb Spring Break at the Market 2017
The kids may look forward to spring break, but as a parent, spring break can be stressful. Planning a full day of entertainment is very time consuming and it is hard to come up with new and innovative ideas to keep the little ones occupied. This is where the Market comes in, we consider ourselves to be a very family-friendly attraction. We have the children’s ballroom on the Retail level, the team at Olde World Confections is always cooking up something sweet and Bowen Island Pizza Co. has delicious and convenient children’s sized pizzas, as well as pear and brie for a mature palate. The Market is definitely worthy of being added to the spring break itinerary.
We have also put together a special offer just for spring break. In addition to our life-size chess board, we are offering table top board games. Stop by the Market between 10AM – 4PM from March 17 to April 1st, 2017 and sign out a board game. Board games are available at the Visitor’s Centre during their hours of operation, which is Monday – Sunday 10AM – 4PM. We have an extensive collection of games including, Jenga, Monopoly Deal, Twister, Uno and Checkers! Have a change of scenery, get some snacks and avoid the dreaded “I’m bored”!
