01 Feb The Market hosts its first Petting Zoo
We have an exciting Family Day weekend planned at the Market. In addition to having the Artisan Farmer’s Market set up on February 13th, the Market is also hosting their first petting zoo! The petting zoo will be set up outside on the East Plaza of the Market. It will include a wide array of farm animals, sheep, lambs, rabbits, goats and even a miniature horse! The zoo kicks off at 10AM on February 11th, and goes until noon. A*Star will also be at the Market offering face-painting and balloon animals for a small fee between 10AM – 1PM.
The petting zoo is by donation, with all the proceeds going towards Family Services in the North Shore, a very fitting charity for Family Day. Family Services I Hope Centre is located on the Retail Level of Lonsdale Quay Market.
It should be a fun day for the whole family, so bundle up, grab breakfast at the Market and then go play with some friendly farm animals!
