Savour Recipe: Pickled Beets

Ingredients

  • 1 ltr white vinegar
  • 2 cups of white sugar
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • Pickling spices, mustard seed, fennel seed and black pepper corns

Instructions

  • Cook beets until tender.
  • Cool, peel and quarter.
  • Bring brine to a boil.
  • Strain over beets.
  • Let sit for 24hrs.
  • Cool
  • Refrigerate
