01 Oct Savour Recipe: Pickled Beets
Ingredients
- 1 ltr white vinegar
- 2 cups of white sugar
- 1 tbsp of salt
- Pickling spices, mustard seed, fennel seed and black pepper corns
Instructions
- Cook beets until tender.
- Cool, peel and quarter.
- Bring brine to a boil.
- Strain over beets.
- Let sit for 24hrs.
- Cool
- Refrigerate
