SummerFest 2016 consist of fitness classes, live music and dancing! The summer festivals kicked off Canada Day weekend and wrapped up Labour Day Weekend. Every weekend the outdoor stage was packed with fun for the whole family. A wonderful addition to this year’s SummerFest, was the outdoor movie, yoga with The Hive and Kid’s Day!This year was extra special because it was the 30th anniversary of SummerFest.

“Make this Summer Sizzle with Free Family Fun”

Participants enjoy Yoga Thursdays with Lululemon overlooking the views of Vancouver’s skyline. On Fridays Steve Nash hosted Feel Good Fridays,offering a mix of Zumba, Pound and Bolly X classes. On Dance Saturdays Salsa Studio offered Salsa classes, and on Sunday there is the SummerFest Concert Series Sunday. The concert series focuses on local artists, this year some of the crowd favorites were Greg Neufeld, Steve Elliot as Elvis, Emily Chambers and the Phonix Band. This family oriented event is open to local crafter, artisans and entertainers.
