Kid's Fridays are a big hit! Interactive children's entertainers and activities on the plaza each Friday afternoon. This week, July 3, musician Will Stroet strummed and sang about the environment, safety and more.
Join us weekly throughout the summer for the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation Charity BBQ, happening Friday afternoons from 12pm to 3pm. See what the chefs at Sharky's Artisan Sausages and the Salmon Shop have prepared for this week. Big thanks to Sharky's Artisan Sausages, the Salmon Shop, and COBS bread for supplying the food - and the chefs!
Market Hosts spent July 17 & 18 at the Sinfonia Orchestra Brass Spectacular and Party at the Pier events, presented by the Lower Lonsdale Business Association.
Local children's entertainer Mike Battie wowed the kids with fire juggling, knife throwing, and unicycle stunts on Friday, July 23.
The VOC Soul Gospel Choir sang their hearts out on the SummerFest stage July 27th, over Caribbean Days weekend.
Kid's Alley was hoppin' on Easter Sunday.
Face painting, balloon animals, and crafts kept the kids busy until the Bunny arrived.
The Easter Bunny was a huge hit with the kids!
After an extensive renovation, everyone was excited for the Bunny to cut the red ribbon on the new Gingerbread House Ballroom.

Virgin Radio emcees kick off the day just after 8am. Vince Vaccarro and his band enterain the crowds.
A sea of red anxiously awaits the Torch's arrival.

City of North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto and Honour Guards welcome everyone to the celebration.
Thousands line the red carpet on the Market's South Plaza as First Nations drum group and dancers perform.
Excitement mounts just minutes before the Torch is slated to arrive on the South Plaza.
The crowd cheers on both Torch Runners, as they stop for photos during this historic event.
The Russian Tall Ship passes by Londsale Quay Market as the event wraps up at 10am.
The Lower Lonsdale Fall Festival was held on September 27, 2009.

The 'Quay Riders' had an amazing adventure in the 2009 Ride to Conquer Cancer. The team rose over $13,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation.
Our riders have already registered for the 2010 Ride, and have begun training and fundraising.
