Press Release: St. Patrick`s Day at the Market

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC— Prepare your green clothes and head to Lonsdale Quay Market to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Celtic dancing, food, drinks and local artisans on March 17th and 18th.

The Cheshire Cheese Restaurant will kick-off the celebration on March 17th hosting their annual dinner, with Celtic dancing by Eire Born Irish Dancers, live music from Irish Paper Moon and beer. There will be two seatings, one and 5PM and the other at 7PM.

On March 18th, Lonsdale Quay Market will be hosting the Lonsdale Artisan Farmers’ Market from 10AM to 3PM by the South Entrance, located in the corridor between Bowen Island Pizza Co. and Muffin Delight. The Lucky March Market will be taking place at the same time in the area in front of Sharky’s Chophouse. It will feature local artisans and vendors that want to get involved in the Lower Lonsdale community.

The Market will also be offering samples of Sharky’s Irish Stew and Green Leaf Brewing’s stout in correlation with St. Patrick’s Day. This will take place from 12:30PM to 1:30PM next to the Lucky March Market.

10:00AM – 3:00PM Pop-up vendors on the Market Level
12:30PM – 1:30PM Food and Beverage Sampling

Lonsdale Quay Market, located adjacent to the SeaBus in the heart of Lower Lonsdale, features a fresh food market with local products, an international food court, specialty retail shops showcasing local designers, kids shops and play area, full-service restaurants, and a boutique hotel, with unobstructed views of the Vancouver harbour and city skyline.
