01 Oct Savour Recipe: Braised Red Cabbage

- 1 head of red cabbage
- 1 apple julienne
- 1 cup of minced onion
- Bacon (optional)
- 1cup of red wine
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- Place in pot
- Saute cabbage, onion and apple
- Add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Cook until cabbage is tender.
